The Rotorua Unit of Young Mariners New Zealand Inc. has operated from the Rotorua Lakefront for the last 30 years.  We provide a challenging programme of aquatic and camping skills for girls aged 9-18 years.  Competitions against Guides, Scouts and Cadets has been offered at regattas.

Objectives: To encourage physical, mental and leadership development of young women, provide an enjoyable and attractive and challenging programme of progressive training, foster comradeship and understanding through sea and nature, and liaise with other organisations with similar aims and objectives.

The Rotorua Young Mariners meet on Thursdays at the Rotorua lakefront during school terms.  Our unit is supported by a parents committee and qualified leaders.
